Wolff Wednesday: Glad to be Back!

Not much to report on the writing front, except to say that I finished revisions-- over Christmas-- for Beginning with Their Baby, my July 2010 Superromance, which is a follow-up to June's From Friend to Father. I think I deserve lots of gold stars for that, especially since I was visiting my mom and would much rather have hung out with her than sat at the computer working :(

Other than that, I'm just chilling out. We got back to Austin a few days ago and it took me a day to organize all the boys' Christmas presents and put them away (grandma spoils them rotten). My oldest's favorite present was a brand new i-pod, my middle loved his Star Wars figures and the three year old was thrilled with his huge Optimus Prime. My poor husband had to change that thing from a Truck to a Transformer I can't even tell you how many times. As for me, my favorite present was the pretty purple Coach Poppy purse my honey got me. I'm in love with it-- and it matches my purple sunglasses too. What more can a girl ask for?

How about you guys? I know I'm a little late in the asking, but what was your favorite present this holiday season, to give or get?

  1. Sounds like you had a fabulous Chrissy! And the purse sounds divine. My fave (and actually only gift)was my new Sony Touch eReader. I'm in LURVE with it!

  2. Glad you had a good one Tracy. My faves of course (boring) were book store gift cards & restaurant gift cards. BTW we did not outgrow the love of Star Wars & Transformers
now that our son is 20. We still love the movies etc. so be prepared.

  3. Ooh, Rachael, how fun! My mom got me a B and N Nook and I'm so excited-- of course, it won't arrive until February. Sigh.

And Mary, don't I know it. My husband never had the chance to be a kid when he was one, so he's living vicariously through our own. He'll never outgrow transformers and Star Wars and Batman ...

  4. Oooh a Nook. You'll have to tell us all about it when you get it. My mom got a Kindle for her combo Xmas/bday present (her bday is 12/23) but she won't receive it until later this month. I'm jealous! But I do use my iTouch for ereading so I can't complain. :)

Sounds like you had a great Christmas! Pretty purple Coach bags are always good.

  5. Hey Tracy! I am glad that you had a great time with your mom and that your family holiday was just that... a family holiday! That is the best present of all!!! Oh the presents sounds delightful!!

My favorite part of the holiday is to give. I love to watch people's face when they open my gift. I try to buy something that I know they have wanted or really like.. Something individual to them.
But this year hubby spoiled me with a day at a spa... Which I am using this Saturday!! I can not wait!
I hope you have a great day honey!

  6. I don't use anything for ereading, so we'll see how I do with the Nook.

You're right, Cecile. Watching my family open their presents was great fun. Enjoy your day at the spa-- it's been too long since I had one of those.
