Fun Friday: Recipe for the Best Drink Ever!!

I admit that I'm not much of a drinker, but I fell in love with this drink the first time I ever had it. So, in deference to Cole, my main character from Tie Me Down-- who is a huge Patron drinker and an Academy Award winning documentary maker-- here is The Red Carpet!

3 oz Patron Silver Tequila
1 oz Patron Citronge Orange Liquer
4 oz cranberry juice
dash of raspberry juice
squeeze of fresh line

Put ingredients in a cocktail shaker filled with ice. Shake well. Strain into a martini glass rimmed in gold sugar. Garnish with an orange wedge.

Anybody else have any fun, easy drink recipes???

  1. Oh wow. That sounds delicious and just in time for a Friday afternoon cocktail!!!
*scribbles the ingredients down and wait for 5 o'clock* Thanks for the drink!

My favorite drink is one I made myself...
    I call it Cecile's Passion
    Malibu Rum
    Triple Sec
    Pineapple Juice (or orange)
    Grenadine Juice
    Shake... and Drink!
Hope you have a great weekend!

  2. Oooh, Cecile. Now I'm scribbling down the ingredients and heading to thegrocery story for some pineapple juice. Yum! I'm a big believer that everything's better with grenadine.

  3. Well Ms Tracy, I do hope you enjoy it! If you like sweet, this drink is definitely for you! And I am never one to measure, takes the fun out! LMAO!!! But just watch... it may bite you on the bottom!!! Have a great weekend!

  4. Hi Tracy
No drink recipe. I just had Mott's Caesar right out of the bottle. I received my copy of Tie Me Down today from Chapters. It's gorgeous!!! You had sent me the book plate some time ago when I won Naughty Bits but the book is bigger. Can't wait to read it but I'm really busy this weekend. It's in my house now though. I've already read the excerpt for the next one "Tease Me". Wow it sounds amazing!!
April 2010? Now that's teasing. Just talked to Beth at her blog group & recommended Full Exposure if she hadn't read it yet. Talk to you soon.

  5. Yeah I have a great one, it's called "Driving to Starbucks"

    Get in Car
    Go To Starbucks
    Order a Venti Mocha Frappuccino
Go back home and sit down with your drink and a good book.
