I've been referring to the next year as my year in romance novels, so I thought I'd give you a preview of everything that's coming (since my website isn't updated yet-- I know, I know. I'm terrible). Anyway, I'm super excited and hope you are too, since this is my big return to romance after being away writing urban fantasy and YA for the last year. So, with no further ado, here's my list of upcoming books:
October 8, 2013 (yes, tomorrow): Crash into Me, Book One in my Shaken Dirty series from Entangled Brazen. Here's the blurb:
She’s totally off limits, but this rocker wants a taste…
Jamison Matthews has lusted after Ryder Montgomery since she was a preteen. But now that Ryder and her brother’s band, Shaken Dirty, has made it huge, she’s just one of many pining for the brooding lead singer. Too bad Ryder still sees her as a little sister. Not that it matters. Her brother would never allow it, and the last thing Jamison wants is to be another notch on a rock star’s bed post. Even if it’s Ryder’s.
Ryder doesn’t deserve happiness. After his fame destroyed his last girlfriend, he swore he’d never fall in love again. So when Jamison, the girl he’s been in danger of loving for years, joins the band on the road, he’ll do anything to deny the sparks between them—even after one hot night together. But Jamison is determined to show Ryder that he’s worthy of love—her love—and that she’s all grown up…and ready to play.
October 23, 2013: Random House Re-Releases Full Exposure, my first ever erotica. Here's the blurb:
In Tracy Wolff’s sizzling novel of erotic tension—perfect for fans of Sylvia Day, E. L. James, and J. Kenner—sex and suspense steam up the sultry bayou.
4 1/2 star Top Pick from Romantic Times
Desperate to leave a traumatic past behind, photographer Serena Macafee prefers sex with no strings attached—no commitment, just pure pleasure. Her new subject, sculptor Kevin Riley, seems like the perfect man to fulfill her hottest fantasies. And where better than the torrid wetlands of Baton Rouge, where Kevin works—and plays? But as their sessions heat up, so do Serena’s feelings for Kevin.
As she opens herself up to emotions she never wanted, Serena leaves herself vulnerable to everything she thought she’d escaped. As her guard breaks down, her fears are aroused. Something has followed her to the sweltering southern bayou, exposing her to the twisted fantasies of someone in the shadows—and to dangers beyond her wildest dreams.
Random House will also re-release Tie Me Down on October 23, 2013 :)
For fans of Sylvia Day, E. L. James, and J. Kenner, the author of the edgy and erotic Full Exposure delivers another explosive tale of seduction and suspense.
As the only woman on her homicide squad, star investigator Genevieve Delacroix maintains a tough-as-nails attitude that keeps men at arm’s length. She never gives in to her secret fantasies—until she meets a mysterious stranger who teaches her how little control she really has over her mind or her body.
Cole Adams arrives in New Orleans believing Genevieve is his last hope for solving the murder of his younger sister. He just doesn’t expect the hard-bitten detective to look like a blond bombshell. Once he breaks through her inhibitions, he soon finds an unexpected obsession driving Genevieve right to the edge of desire . . . and beyond. But when the serial killer who has been terrorizing the streets of the French Quarter sets his sights on Genevieve, they realize that they both have let down their guard. And losing control can have fatal consequences.
On December 3, my new paranormal romance/Urban Fantasy, Flamebound hits the shelves. It's the second book in my Lone Star Witch series (a follow up to Soulbound) and it got a 4 1/2 Star Top Pick review from Romantic Times, who called it "sensational" and "unforgettable." Squeeeee! Here's the blurb:
“Xandra is an exceptional
heroine.”—Fiction Vixen
When a Council member is murdered in a fashion that screams dark magic, Declan claims someone else beat him to it. Xandra isn’t sure she believes him, and to make matters worse, the Council seems convinced that she’s the guilty one. But when an explosion targets her family home and kills her sister, Xandra realizes someone is hoping to pull the Council and her family into a war—a war she and Declan may not be able to win….
I am also absolutely thrilled to announce that on January 3, 2014, the first book in my new erotica series will hit the shelves. It's called Ruined and I am so incredibly excited with the response Random House and I have gotten to the book already :) I can't WAIT to hear what you guys think! Here's the blurb:
Fans of Fifty Shades of Grey, Bared to You, and Release Me will be hooked on Ruined, an electrifying journey of emotional and sexual discovery that pushes two damaged souls to their breaking point—and beyond.
He’s the last man Chloe Girard should love . . . but the first she ever could.
Ethan Frost is a visionary, a genius, every woman’s deepest, darkest fantasy—even mine. And, somehow, I am his.
He stole into my life like a dream. Turned my reality upside down and made my every desire come true—especially those I never knew I had. He demanded everything I had to give and gave me everything of himself in return.
But dreams don’t last forever, and ours is no exception. Because my nightmares are darker, and my wounds deeper, than I could ever reveal. And as much as Ethan wants to protect me, the secrets we we share will only tear us apart.
Wicked Game, the second book in my Shaken Dirty rocker series, also comes out in January. For those of you who have read, or will be reading, Crash Into Me, this is Quinn's story. And while I don't have a cover or a blurb for it yet, I have to tell you it was SO MUCH FUN to write. Quinn and Elise were friends and lovers back in high school, when they were on the classical piano prodigy circuit. But circumstances tore them apart and now that they've found each other again, the sparks-- and games-- are flying! She paints his Harley pink and bedazzles it right before Rolling Stone shows up to do a cover interview for him ... enough said, right?
In February 2014, Shredded comes out just in time for the Winter Olympics. It's the first in my new New Adult Extreme Risk series, which follows four X-Games snowboarders and I can not begin to tell you how excited I am about this book. Z may be my favorite hero that I've written, ever!!!! Here's the blurb:
In this intense and exhilarating New
Adult series debut, a hotshot snowboarder and a vulnerable rebel with a cause
try to let go of the past—and find a future in each other.
Twenty-one-year-old professional snowboarder Z Michaels is the bad boy of Park City, Utah. He’s always had his pick of any girl in town—and on the competition circuit. But underneath his cool exterior is a young man in turmoil, trying to take the edge off tragedy by overindulging in sex and shredding the slopes. In fact, Z’s reckless behavior is a thinly veiled attempt to blunt his emotional suffering with physical pain.
Ophelia Richardson isn’t like any girl Z has ever met. Though she’s from New Orleans high society, she’s no Southern belle—and she’s not shy about being miserable in frozen, godforsaken Park City. But laying low is her only option after her ex, a rich boy who couldn’t take no for an answer, nearly killed her in a jealous rage. Following that terrifying encounter, the last thing Ophelia needs is a boyfriend—especially one as rich and arrogant as Z. But Ophelia soon discovers that he isn’t what he seems. If anything, Z may be even more damaged than she is.
Tormented by their pasts and feeling alone in the world, Z and Ophelia find a connection unlike any they’ve ever known. But with Ophelia hiding the details of her life in Louisiana and Z’s death wish reaching terrifying new heights, their relationship seems to be going downhill before it even begins—unless they can find the strength in each other to trust, grow, and love again.

In March 2014, Shattered, the second book in the Extreme Risk Snowboarding series, comes out. I don't have any info for it yet, but I'm writing it right now and I LOVE it. Gage is another dark hero, a good boy gone bad due to recent tragedies, and I can't wait for you to meet him.
In April 2014, Come Undone, comes out. It's the third, and darkest, book in the Shaken Dirty Rock Series from Entangled Brazen, and it features Wyatt, the drummer, as he struggles to face his ghosts and stay sober after his latest stint in rehab for a heroin addiction he just hasn't been able to kick. His heroine is amazing and I just can't wait for you to meet her.
Addicted, the follow up book to Ruined, also comes out in April 2014. It's the second in the series and will detail Ethan and Chloe's desperate search for happiness as they struggle to put their dark secrets, and pasts, to rest.
I'm also launching a new series for Harlequin Desire-- about jewel thieves and the diamond magnates who love them-- that will come out in 2014. These are my first Harlequin Desire's and I'm so excited about them.
And finally, in case all that isn't enough, July kicks off Play Me, the erotic serial novel I'm doing for Random House. It's a dark, sexy story that takes place in the richest, most decadent casino in Vegas and I can't wait to hear what you think of it!
So if you're wondering why I've been MIA lately, this is why-- I'm writing fourteen novels in a little over a year's time. Needless to say, I'm a little crazy right about now. But I'm having a great time and can't wait to share with you what I've written.
Hope you guys are as excited as I am :)
OMGosh!!!!! I love every single book on this list and I want them all, I cannot wait!!!!!!

Great to see you, Mistie! Did you like Crash Into Me? I had Jessica send it your way ...
ReplyDeleteAre you kidding me? I loved it and I cannot wait for the rest of the sexy Rock Stars!!!! And thanks for having her send it! I am working on the review today actually!
DeleteI can't help noticing there wasn't a Lone Star Witch #3 listed there. Will there be more in this series?
ReplyDeleteThanks for asking! Whether or not there's a third one is going to depend on how well the second one does ... It was originally a two-book contract and we'll see how things go with Flamebound before my publisher makes any decisions.
DeleteThanks :)
I also have been wondering about this as well. I adored the first two books. Is there any news on a third? :)
